Create A New AccountAll lightweight headsets are more fragile than their full-sized counterparts, but the SMH710 is definitely not disposable. It is repairable and the muff is replaceable. The audio quality permits wearing it for long periods without the 'ear fatigue' that occurs when the audio is of poor quality. And the other people on the system will similarly not be annoyed, as the microphone on the SMH710 sounds as good as that on the SMH310. At 3.88oz (110g) the SMH710 challenges all comers for weight, performance and price. The SMH710 has a flexible boom which can be swung up into the vertical position and is fitted with a 4-pin female XLR connector and a foam 'pop' filter on the microphone.
NOTE: The SMH710 may only be worn on the left ear.
Performance:
The SMH710 is a lightweight version of our long-time product, the SMH310. The construction, though smaller, is very similar. At 3.88 oz. (0.11kg) it is among the lightest headsets suitable for intercom that is available, and far more comfortable than the most commonly available lightweights. Because it has a dynamic microphone it is suitable for all intercom stations, old and new. The microphone arm is a flexible gooseneck and has a swivel mount, permitting a wide range of positioning. The headset comes with a foam microphone pop filter The SMH710 is for left side use only. The ear cushions, being smaller, sit on the ear rather than around it. They can be cleaned and can be easily and inexpensively replaced. The headband is adjustable and padded. On the earspeaker side the adjustment involves clicking the fitting up and down. For larger sizes the pad on the far side can be adjusted by removing a small screw and resetting the pad position.

Exclusion of items from Free and Flat Rate shipping is at ProAdv's discretion. Offer is currently limited to Lower 48 US States.

Why Noon? Well, while we stock quite a few items in our warehouse, many items we have dropshipped by our vendors. They need time to process the order, so to ensure that we can get the order to the vendor and give them enough time to ship it out the same day, we need to get the order to them as early as possible in the day.
