Create A New AccountThe BP1SL is a modified BP1 that can switch between two circuits. It can only communicate with one at a time. However is has a unique feature allowing both signal lamps to work at all times. If you are using circuit A and someone is trying to contact you from circuit B, the circuit B signal lamp will light, and vice/versa. The circuit connection XLRs on the back are both female, so you cannot loop-through to the next station as you can on a BP1, without the use of a simple Y-cable or SB1 Splitter box.
The BP1SL is a portable headset station may be worn on the belt or hung on the wall by its sturdy belt-clip. Soft plastic strips on the underside help hold it in place when set on top of a console. The matte black finish minimizes visibility. Frequency response has been carefully shaped to optimize both intelligibility and long-term listening comfort. A mic. limiter circuit reduces overload distortion. The high bridging impedance ensures that system and sidetone levels do not vary as other stations are switched in and out of the circuit.
The top (or front) panel contains controls for switching each microphone circuit on and off, for controlling each listening level, and for signaling. They are easily identifiable by touch, even in the dark. A recessed, screwdriver adjustment control is provided for varying the level of the user’s voice to be heard in his own ear phone (sidetone). A long-life, extremely bright, 4-segment LED serves as the signal lights. The circuit connection XLRs on the back are both female, so you cannot loop-through to the next station as you can on a BP1, without the use of a simple Y-cable or SB1 Splitter box.
The ribbed, extruded aluminum case; glass-filled nylon end bezels; internal support system for the PC board; best-quality XLR-type connectors, and; recessed controls, all contribute to the outstanding ability of the BP1SL to withstand rough usage.
The comparatively low price of the BP1SL is made possible by the minimized assembly cost resulting from simplicity of construction. Simple construction also affords the use of higher quality components, and increases the ease (thus lowering the cost) of servicing.
The BP1SL is plug-in compatible with Clear-Com® and other popular 200W unbalanced headset intercom systems.

Our full policy is in our Terms and Conditions page. Please Note: Due to unprecedented raw material and component shortages for finished goods throughout our industry, lead times for items that aren't currently in stock are longer than normal and cannot be guaranteed at present. Equipment needed by a firm date must be noted at time of order. While VLS cannot guarantee delivery by those dates, we will work with our suppliers to do everything possible to meet deadlines. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Online orders received by noon Eastern time typically ship the same day. If your delivery due date is critical please note your due date in the order messages at checkout, and then contact us.
Why Noon? Well, while we stock quite a few items in our warehouse, many items we have dropshipped by our vendors. They need time to process the order, so to ensure that we can get the order to the vendor and give them enough time to ship it out the same day, we need to get the order to them as early as possible in the day.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight and dimension based, as this is the method that FedEx and UPS use to rate the package's cost to ship.
We understand things happen and items occasionally need to be returned. To make things as hassle-free as possible, we have dedicated pages about our Returns Policy (what’s eligible to be returned) and our Return Process (how to go about returning eligible items)
