Product Description
Our Uncoated Tie Line, also known as trick line, is made from a cotton/polyester blend in a diamond braid construction. This economical, general purpose tie cord is soft to the touch, and frequently used in situations where knots are tied and untied multiple times. Due to its invisibility in most stage environments, our black uncoated tie line can often be found in theater applications.
What's the best knot for tie line? The one that stays where you tied it, of course.
- Use a larks head to keep tieline attached to cables.
- Use a shoestring bow to attach curtains to battens and carriers
- Use 2 half hitches for light hauling
- Use a truckers hitch if used as a belt ( better than gaff tape, safer than safety pins).
