Features
A straightforward interface displaying all layer’s parameters simultaneously, as well as all layers preview, gives lighting designers improved visibility of their shows and the best ergonomics possible.
MediaMaster’s powerful video engine and proprietary video Codec SAGA guarantee a smooth and reliable playback up to a canvas of 16K x 16K pixels. Use 10-bit color range with or without HDR for better and brighter picture quality.
Take total control of your media: position, scale, rotate, adjust transparency, alpha, colors, compose with other layers etc. MediaMaster supports major media formats, multiple video inputs, and provides more than 60 effects with controllable parameters.
The Remote Player which will be of interest to those working on long term shows, permanent installations and in other fixed environment scenarios. Remote Player is a network-based player allowing the control of multiple servers from a single point on the network. The internal encoder means Cue Lists can be allocated to separate applications. Connect your Elgato Stream Deck to maximize workflow and direct access to sources and outputs as needed.
MediaMaster Pro ships with the new Video Mapper Extension which allows easy mapping of video onto irregularly shaped surfaces and through multiple outputs. Designed to let you setup mapping projects in very short times, it makes it incredibly simple to flow visuals around complex objects with just a few clicks.
The fixture profiles allows total control of every MediaMaster parameter straight from the DMX console and turns any powerful computer into a traditional Media Server for professional lighting consoles. With now in MediaMaster 6 two new fixture profiles – Layer extended 2.0 and layer full 2.0 - that can each control up to 112 DMX parameters
MediaMaster is ahead of the game, and will happily play HDR or standard videos and make them compatible with HDR 10 and HLG hardware on the fly. MediaMaster 6 include a specific mode for HDR LED screen, compatible with Novastar or Brompton LED processor. Be compliant with the most demanding picture quality, thanks to MediaMaster 6 HDR output processing.
MediaMaster 6 runs the streamlined proprietary ArKaos SAGA codec with 10-bit definition per color and an Alpha Channel. Other advantages of SAGA include lower disc usage than with a standard HAP codec, also boosting the speed, the ability to play clips backwards and accelerated CPU and GPU rendering. There is no chroma re-sampling, and the resolution size is unlimited.
MediaMaster now also has Multiple NDI®5 inputs/outputs with alpha, as well as being fully integrated in the extensive NDI®5 product ecosystem, cementing it as a versatile live performance software. NDI®5 (or Network Device Interface) is a free protocol to send Video over IP. It is designed to allow the distribution of live professional video content over an existing IP infrastructure, freeing users from current hardware constraints. This means that NDI®5 doesn’t just cut back on cost, but also drastically reduces deployment time.
MediaMaster currently includes the intuitive LED Mapper Extension, the flexible software solution from ArKaos to drive LED panels. The Editor now works in the same time than MediaMaster. You can interactively preview your editing by sending the video output or the mapper static pattern to the network. The LEDMapper supports unicast to reduce the load on the network and so allows to drive many LED fixtures. The interface displays the pool of devices detected on the network to make it easy to assign IP address for the fixtures.
